Kudos to Home Depot - they actually tell you on the website that it's on clearance in the store, so you can get it cheaper by going to pick it up. I've never seen a store do that.

Actually I see that consistently as I look at the clearance items that are decent values. Just like this one: https://www.homedepot.com/pep/Mil...51-483420- I have a store w 20 near me and shows as clearance because it has stock.
You must go to a store with stock and "Shop This Store" and you see the Clearance Ref and price. Not stock in the store you are shopping, cant see the Clearance Price.

I went on a huge utility knife kick recently and there's just too little difference in price to not get the Milwaukee. Especially the 6 in 1

Yes, that tracks with my callout for them doing that. Are you familiar with any other stores that do this? I've done primarily online shopping for 20 years now, and I've not ever seen a store do that, so I thought it was pretty great.

It is a fairly new feature if I remember correctly it was implemented about a year ago. Time is passing by so fast to me now I may be incorrect and it could have been 3 years ago.

Even at $15 difference? They do look like an step up from both of these DeWalt's knives. I don't need them but... but... but don't tell my wife

No knife really stands up to the 6 in 1. It's the standard

Down to $5 in my area. Displayed on a hanging strip. Check the carpeting and drywall areas.
