I'm only a single person with one specific experience, but I'll never buy an MSI stealth again due to the poor build quality.

Please note that this laptop has an extremely underpowered GPU (105W) compared to something like a Lenovo legion (170W).
This is a thin and light with a great battery life though.

sort of. it has a 105w tgp 5080 and some says the screen does not support 60hz, strange.

Same. I had to repaste after only one year and replace fans every 2 years. Lost audiochip and a usb port too. Does still run though. 🤷

For me:
- 3 batteries
- Repaste
- Both screen hinges
- Frame around screen (due to hinge tension too high)
- Touchpad
- Fans

I'm literally the only person who can open it (have to support both hinges with your thumbs), if anyone else were to try, they would crack the screen.

Currently dead, but it might just need a another new battery 🤷🏾 😮 💨

100% 😂 I've built many desktop PC's, but this was the first laptop I ever took apart. The first time I was crazy nervous, but I ended up having so many problems that by the end I would just do it on my desk with a bunch of other stuff around because I was so used to it (fans, repaste, etc.).

I haven't had a working battery in years. I didn't even bother after the second replacement didn't even make it 9 months.

The amount of screws and ribbon cables you have to remove just to get to the motherboard is nuts. Likewise, I was nervous the first time and by the third time pulling the motherboard, I could care less.

Lost two MSi laptops in six months. MSi wanted almost $3K to fix both laptops. Then the guy on the phone laughed about it and said maybe next time buy the high end laptops. I brought them to a local electronics shop in LA, guy fixed it one for $120. The other was completely cooked!

Nah, build quality is subpar. I'd sooner buy a Legion or something from Asus

I have the previous iteration of this machine, 185h, 4080, 64gb, 4k panel. It's been great for me, good battery life when I need it, good power when I need it. No hinge issues or anything else. I'd buy it again. This seems like an OK deal, but I'd never pick anything 'fair' from Best Buy. Maybe Good, definitely would Excellent, but that becomes less of a deal close to $2k.
