Bummer I can't get one locally. But paid a bit more to get an open box excellent shipped... Always wanted to try one.

So, I have this model in use on my living room for 3 years now, they gave up on the updates and I just keep it unplugged most of the time. See, it has serious HDMI hand shake issues, were it constantly stop responding to volume change commands. It also responds slowly when it responds to volume up or down commands.

Sound is very nice when it works and reports to the customer service email comes back as working as intended, suggesting to check other devices. Isolation troubleshooting yielded the same issues.

I paid full price directly from Sennheiser, but hey...

Just got mine in and it is brand new, the one time bb rates excellent and it actually is. Doing a bit of testing and it is actually pretty impressive, the ambeo adds a fair amount of depth. it won't compare to a 7.1 dedicated wired system. but not everyone has the ability to run side and rears.

the base on the ambeos plus is decent considering it doesnt come with a sub. I will look out for an open box sub in the future...
