This is a great price! I use these to roast all large meats in the oven. Perfect for preventing the meat from drying out over a long cooking period.

This is better method than slow cooker? Chuck roast for example.

If I'm making pot roast or something with a sauce/gravy, I'd probably still use crock/dutch, but I've also never tried those cooks in a bag

Love these. Never had a badly cooked Turkey with them.

Just make sure to add a tablespoon of flour to the bag first, shake, and then add your seasoned Turkey after to cook.

Seems like it better for meat other than poultry. I need browning on my birds(for me to eat).

Sorry, but I'll never be comfortable with plastic liners in cooks, no matter the temp assurance. Not just the leeching aspect but also I'd rather not involve a plastic liner in literally every aspect of my life for minor inconveniences.
