I use it for blinds (it gets the right response from Alexa more often than the voice command) and for a fountain (in a room where there is not an Echo). Another use would be as a light switch for WiFi bulbs, so people visiting your house don't need to know what the lights are named and don't cut the power to your WiFi light bulbs.

One account had the coupon, the other one didn't... in for one.
My wife and Alexa+ don't get along well sometimes; this should let her control certain routines without talking to her
