This is for snap rings, as the name suggests. There is a snap ring shown in the last picture at the Amazon link. You don't need it because you are not aware of snap rings or snap ring pliers.

Removing a recessed snap ring without the right tool is a major PITA!!!! but it's on sale through Slickdeals so you should do an obligatory buy!! 🤪

To be fair, the first time you need these the $8 option at Walmart will likely be enough. If you figure out based on that that you need something better you may be looking for a full set of snap ring pliers, not one of these.

Yeah, go to harbor freight, sort through the ones they have, pick the one with the best alignment/QA, and use that. If you break it someday, buy a better one.
this one seems odd…you will probably lose the interchangeable heads, and interchangeable ones are never as stable or reliable feeling as a standalone. Just get a couple normal ones.

I purchased 2 brands of snap ring pliers for a previous job. I wish I could remember the brand names. My only recollection was that the one I considered more 'generic' used a weaker steel that got permanently deformed after using on more strongly-sprung snap rings.
