These do not help with fully dead batteries like attaching to another car does. At least that has been my experience

Might need more volts or amps then, when i needed a jump before; the AAA person had a battery to do it vs a jumper cable. Granted it wasn't dead dead as there was some lights, probably relates to what people need in CCA in colder weather?

I have an avapow and I've had some weird issues jumping my Volvo project car occasionally. It honestly could be the battery or heck even the car.

Definitely not, that battery capacity is only enough to make a few attempts at starting the car. I would not use this for anything outside of jumping the car, inflating the car's tires, or maybe to charge your cellphone in an emergency.

I bought this at $50 and thought it was well worth it for peace of mind. I have never had to actually jump the car with it. The air compressor works fine, though.
