Bought this TV back in December when the $900 + 10% back deal was active. Love the TV so far and everything I've watched on it looks amazing. UI is quick and smooth. Definitely would recommend this TV at this price.

Mine did come with a small defect in the trim, but I didnt think it was worth returning it over.

All jokes aside I'm going to miss "real" Sony TVs. My Bravia is six and a half years old now, has had countless QOL firmware upgrades, and still looks as good as the first time I turned it on.

I hope TCL doesn't completely wreck that formula.

They already have but in a great way with SQD display tech which is FAR superior than Sony. Sony says,
If you can't beat em, join em!

heads up on this: The q7mk 4k 144hz refresh rate stopped working with an update back in october apparently. Not saying that's the case, but the point is their customer support is about useless. Multiple reports of that. Otherwise that tv has been great.

People like to fuss over brightness, but the B5 is still plenty bright for a bright room. While this is brighter, the B5, being OLED, has superior overall picture quality. So, do you want more brightness, or do you want better color and perfect contrast.

If the sun is directly shining on the TV, OLEDs suffer from UV damage/burn in.
If you only have a window on one side, and don't watch much static content with permanent bottom banners/chyrons I'd go with the B5.
