My kids lose balls constantly as well. Frustrating but for $10 it's good to have an extra.

I have a few of these in a size 4. Not bad, but on the harder side. Both of my kids like the MLS club balls that are/were a similar price that are softer feeling. These are seem to be more durable so depends on what you want in a ball.

My son has never "lost" a ball. He doesn't leave the field after practice without it.
Next time he does, send him to practice without one so he learns the importance of keeping up with his things.

I second this comment.

These other parents obviously set no rules for their kids and let them disrespect them.

Who is losing 3-4 balls a season? That's crazy. The kids don't care because these parents are enabling their lack of respect for anything the parent buys. Oh, you left a 4th ball at the park? I'll just get you a new one. Lol no! So you kids play soccer for say 10 years .. you're buying them 30-40 balls? Do you hear how crazy you sound as a parent?

I've played soccer most of my life and I have never ever lost a single ball. It ALWAYS came home with me no matter what.

Some of you really need to parent better and take a step back to see what kind of lessons/values you're instilling into your kids.

Have your kid give you the money for this ball.. I can guarantee you there's a lower chance of them losing it.

I professionally coach two-four teams a year. Balls routinely get kicked over a field or two and sometimes down a hill or into a pond nearby. During practice sometimes a kid will be so worried about losing his ball that he stops the practice to go over a field or two to go get the ball. Last fall I had one who wanted to go swimming into the pond after his. Some of the time the entire team winds up waiting for him as we need everyone for the drill, e.g. positional play. Its a huge waste of time to be obsessing over a $10 ball. I've always been amazed by those parents that obsess over the soccer ball. Some of them pay for professional coaching, and then freak out over that $10. At this point, when I get far enough into the season to know that certain parents care more about the ball than the practice, I won't let the rest of the team wait for their kid to come back, their kid can sit on the sideline with his ball. Their issues shouldn't stop practice for other people's kids. We then talk about it with the parent, if the ball is still the only thing that matters, I leave them to their obsession and focus on the other kids.

A ball should be a kids toy, not a bludgeon.
