It's worse. This is the stuff sold at Walgreens in bulk during holidays.
As an adult I'd rather just buy a 30-50% cocoa chocolate bar. Lindt, Ghirardelli, even Hershey's dark chocolate bar. I probably liked the russell stover stuff as a kid.

Seems as if Amazon had them in storage for a decade or two before they sent them. I've seen old chocolates before, but not like in those photos.

It doesn't. That's like trying to compare a beef patty to a steak. They are among the cheapest, and Walgreens has them on sale for $5 frequently.

It's American chocolate made for mass retail. No comparison. Stick to chocolates made on-site. (They could be using the better quality Belgian, Swiss or other European chocolate in their businesses.) Professional family chocolatier here; I classify it as marginal.

Wow. Harsh comments on this product. It's certainly not the best chocolate around, but I still enjoy it, and $5 is a pretty good price for a box. Thanks!

This is the type of chocolate you buy when you have to give a gift to someone you don't like.
