Also wanted to mention that these spiral-wire-bound books don't make great journals. I've had experiences using these types of bindings (I've used Strathmore Visual Journal for many years before switching to sewn-in binding type).
I keep and read my journals for a long time. Spiral binding, no matter how careful I flip them, pages always want to fall out after a few years.
I also travel and journal on location a lot. The spiral binding doesn't offer as much rain protection as a regular binding.
The spiral binding does offer a free, built-in pen loop.
