Seems to be about the normal price the newer RE games fetch as part of these bundles, so not a bad deal at all but don't have to worry about FOMO if you don't want to spend the money right meow.

FWIW, I think DR4 was the best of the series even if the hivemind review bombed it.

I imagine the original 4 & 5 probably fine. But there's Steamdb to tell you

Seriously, the games were all tongue-in-cheek, not sure why you all thought that aspect was so objectionable.
If it wasn't the Santa's, what then was so bad? Gameplay was the same as 1-3, just no longer out of date controls (given the time frame between releases, that would be inexcusable if it didn't change a little) also the game no longer felt like a bargain basement title in terms of general jank or and QOL improvements. Personally, I don't see a problem with any of that...quite the opposite actually.

It was the deceptive lying, the game devs saying "we're going back to the roots", and then butcher the main mechanic, bastardizing Frank's character... should i go on? the """jank""" in dead rising 1 is what helped make it stand out and unique, 4 is trash lol
hell the main devs couldnt even get frank's age right, ONE OF THE THE MAIN DEVS, they showed no effort, no care, its not a good DR game, its not even a good zombie game

And Frank's age? Its a zombie game full of Sadistic Claus's and people wearing medieval armor. Getting nitpicky canon details perfect is hardly what I'd consider a point to judge such a tongue-in-cheek game by. This ain't a WW2 sim. If I worried about that kind of microscopic details Star Wars or Star Trek would be unwatchable as they can violate canon several times per minute.
And how do you resolve Dead Rising 2 vs Off the Record? If we are really worried about maintaining story continuity regarding age....those are conflicting timelines
FWIW, I think you might be projecting a lot of expectations regarding "back to root thing" (assuming it was even uttered ), what they meant by that, and what you expected don't always align. Especially if you weren't involved in the development.
