How good is this deal and this unit? I see the same price on Walmart but the list price is 2499 not 3699 which is definitely not the real price. I appreciate any input by owners

Please read reviews for this unit, it has several flaws that can literally damage your equipment, some users report damages in the thousands of dollars, with electricians urging to stay away from this specific model, also, warranty is place dependent, if you live in a us territory or Hawaii, and you ship it from the mainland to you, ecoflow won't cover the warranty.

From a historical deal perspective I don't think this is a good deal at all. But maybe it is if you need it RIGHT now? I got the Delta 3 Ultra (3000wh) for around $720 during black friday. I'm ignoring the tax credit since that is now gone for good after Trump repealed the 30% tax credit for 2026

I own few items from ecoflow, bluetti, anker. I have/had 3 items from ecoflow and all 3 broke. BMS issues stopped charging. Happened within few months, which I guess is good because i was able to return to costco one unit. The delta 2 and extra battery both had i had file support claim which is total pain, all thru email and have to repeat yourself ovefr and over provide videos etc.

Its shame because ecoflow had the best app so its shame. my 2 bluettis neither any issues.

Thats a different unit. The Pro3 has the 240V native in it to power well pumps

The market positioning of this particular product is puzzling to me.
For recreational uses and jobsites, 240V is rearly needed, and the unit is way too heavy to carry on/off a vehicle. For home backup, 240V makes a lot of sense. However, 4kW is way too small, as a single-family homes would need 6kW to run (without constantly turning off things manually). 4kWh can barely last half a day. For $2000 I can easily find a 10kW inverter generator which can last a full day with a few gallons of gas.

You've almost got it... You pair this DP3 with their auto start/stop generator and run it on 20lb bottle of propane. The 4kw unit powers everything you need quietly, when SOC drops down, the generator automatically starts, runs a bit to recharge, then auto shuts back off. Bingo, you're back up to a full 4kwh again and running silent. This cycle can continue for a much longer time before ever thinking of fuel because the generator has to run so little to juice the DP3 back up. The propane simply keeps things easy, clean, and with little storage maintenance.

To run an equivalent sized 240V generator means constantly running it and requires quite a bit of fuel to store and will be noisy as heck.

Woops, I assumed the wonky non standard three pronged 30amp port on my unit was 240v, it is not. It is a 120v 30amp port for RV use.

I had the opposite experience, multiple Ecoflows cycled daily with a single issue that was resolved in 72hrs. Anker on the other hand I'm on pretty sure they're going to lose money by sending me all these units. 4 exchanges in under a year, 80lb shipment both ways

I searched for what you wrote and had ChatGPT survey the forums and the reviews and it found no widespread issues reported. As an owner of 32 ecoflow units now with zero quality issues, i would appreciate some links showing electricians giving warnings about this specific model.

I use the D3 Ultra+ to L1 top off my plugin hybrid at my condo every night. I'd like to try the 240v plug but the outlet is unusual. Has anyone used an RV port adapter with a J1772 charging cable?

I think you didn't get my point… 4kWh is not a problem. The small output wattage 4kW is the problem. The water pump alone needs 3kW, anything else significant (AC air handler, a hair dryer, …) running at the same time WILL trip the breaker. Running a 10kW generator is much less hassle than this, not mentioning much less $$.

You can but it from ecoflow direct, with a coupon of EF6PCTOFF for $1879 before tax. Wellbots has it for ~$1910 with coupon, and no sales tax
