I ended up buying this one and it works well enough only problem is I can't have it in the same room I sleep the movement is by a wide margin the loudest I have ever heard. I thought I heard water dripping it was the second hand ticking.

Good find. This one is probably good for $10. Still, I've bought plenty of cheap watches that die after a few months of use and enjoyed them thoroughly. Then I keep going back to the simple Timex one that costs a little more. Here's basically the same watch from Timex for $40.

Yeah, I get that it's 4x the price and there's nothing particularly slick about a $40 watch.

However, given the choice of getting another cheap watch just to throw it away or just wearing the same Timex I bought five years ago, I know what I'd pick.

This is the everyday price for this watch. I have no comment on the quality of this watch but I've watched a few videos on YouTube about this and the other 'Biden' watches that are similar. They seem to be OK for the price

Good price for this look! Like @mookie, I bought the similar Timex version from Walmart for $20. Like him, I've had better luck with Timex for my beaters than brands I never heard of (although they probably all come from the same factory in China)

Plus the Timex has indiglo, which alone makes it worth the extra money.

I have three little drawers full of watches and bands. Everything from a Rolex, a couple of Seikos, and others down to this, which will be the cheapest watch I'll own. I like to switch watches with the wind, so I'll start wearing this one when it arrives tomorrow.
Yeah, I know. It's a sickness - but at least it's legal! 😇

I like cheap watches and I cannot lie.
I don't care if they can't keep accurate time.
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring.
Oh baby, I wanna get to wearing.
And take a picture.

Been there, done that...
Waterproof to 100m, not
Plastic trash, better with Timex or Casio.
