Roku simply cant be trusted anymore. Turning on motion smoothing that every director hates and can not be turned off, Putting extra ads when you pause content in streaming apps ( https://www.reddit.com/r/Roku/com...xperience/ )

tbh you can't really trust any company anymore. Not only the things you mentioned, but they're all tracking everything you do and manipulating you at this point.

idk about the motion smoothing on the 2025 version, but it's turn off-able on the 2024 version (at least on my 75" one). also on the thread you linked to, literally the first comment (and several following that corroborate) mention that the ads are a slingtv thing, not a roku thing.

back on topic, this is a decent deal on the top-of-the-line most-current 65" roku-branded tv. great reviews all-around. rtings has it slightly lower than the 2024 versions: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...eries-2025

I don't see the 25% off offer. Am I missing something? Maybe targeted?

I've seen other amazon card offers (which I have) for other TVs

Put it in your cart and go to the checkout page. You should see "additional reward details " near the bottom of the checkout page, click on that and it does show 20% +5%

TCL is better for the price point, esp on sale.

edit: same price at Best Buy for 65 QM7K:

just something to note that others may not know - this TV is HEAVY! I had a previous 55 inch TCL and upgraded to this tv earlier this year and i was shocked at how heavy it is.

That said, i will admit that it has great speakers which most tv's do not these days.

i'm still in search of a good mount for this tv that will allow me to easily pull it out to hook up accessories and things because of the weight if anyone has any good suggestions? I don't care about how flat it is against the wall, but do want something that provides a ton of functionality.
