Does anyone have this and does the bumper guard help? The one I have makes so much noise and its hard to close and open the door quietly with it on
This is from the second review, hope it helps: My previous towel rack was a similar price but had none of the thoughtfully added touches this one has. The bumpers placed at the bottom ensure the towel rack doesn't rattle against the door and the rubber pieces at the top make it so you don't have to worry about it rubbing and makes for a secure fit.

I don't have this but I have hooks from IKEA that sag and rubs the top of the door frame because the door isn't thick enough. I add enough furniture pads (the ones where you use for chairs legs) to get the top part of the hook parallel to the door frame it stopped the rubbing so I imagine this built in one would look much cleaner.
