Looks like a good deal, wish it came with a cover like some of the products it is emulating.

I was thinking the same. I bought the Member's Mark fire pit with it, though, and at least that has a cover.

Weird question... but these types of fire pits... once you put the fire out... do you put a cover on it? I bought a home with one like this in the yard (left by the previous owner), and the bottom was basically rusted through.

Its always a good idea to cover them. Most brands are stainless steel internals so they are harder to rust, but water soaked ash will eat through it.

Why do so many people seem to have fire pits or similar things? Was it always this way? Genuinely curious.

Picked this up, compared to a Solo stove or other racks of similar type on Amazon, this is a steal. You can always find a generic cover for the rack. For the original price, I would never pick this up considering it didn't have a cover. However the money saved, I can always pick up a cover. Thanks OP.

I was born in the 80's and have always either had or known people who have fire pits. I am also an adult who is addicted to s'mores in the summer.

I bought this last time it was on sale. It allowed me to move storing the Solo stove from my garage to outside along with the wood on bottom shelf. I bought this as a cover and has been holding up nicely for those interested: https://a.co/d/0VfQHRi

Perhaps it was regional and has spread? You can make s'mores with a smaller fire or even a gas stove burner.
