I ride this beast of a scooter on the daily between parking lot and work. It's fast enough that I don't get bored. It's light enough that I can lift up and into the suv. It's compact enough to fit inside the back of the suv. It's strong enough to climb up 15-20 degrees uphill in the parking garage to the third floor at max speed carrying my 150 pounds self. It's rugged enough that I haven't had to replace anything or fix anything in the last 2 years of daily riding and weekly charging. The battery is still running strong. I love that I can plug it directly into the wall without needing a brick DC converter. I read somewhere that Segway built these to be rental units so they are tough sumbish for personal use.

Sure it doesn't have the fancy suspension of the G2, but that's a 300 dollars privilege and extra weight that I feel is unnecessary. It's comfortable enough for me with the air tires. Keep your knees slightly bent like you're supposed to and you'll be fine! 550 is what I paid for it 2 years ago at Target. If the only thing I would change probably would be a little higher speed, but only because I ride sport bike and I'm a degenerate. 19mph at full charge is fast enough if I'm honest with myself and keep me out of trouble since I refuse to ride scooter with helmet and looking like waterboy.

Motor Nominal Power 350 W

May not be enough power for hilly areas.
