What a weird pairing, Intel 14th gen with the current generation of Nvidia GPU. Sure, the CPU is still decent, but this is ~3 gens old now.

Not built that "Tuf." Had the monitor hinge bust on mine after pretty minimal use.

My Tuf battery drains to zero after a few days off the charger. *Yes completely shut down. It used to use more power than the charger could supply. Had to rma for a new mobo. Nothing but issues.

Very similar spec to the HP Omen 2K laptop. Same 5060, 32GB 1TB. But different CPU (Ryzen 9 vs I7-14650HX), and 2K vs FHD+ 165hz almost the same price.
But BBY has raised the price of the HP Omen Open box so this may be the best deal at the moment.

In most cases, I would say you're correct. But there have been times where I purchased an open box unit and I swear the thing was never touched. During the holidays, I purchased an open box (fair) Lenovo Legion Go S Z1E with SteamOS. I have no idea what someone could say made that anything other than perfectly new. I think there was a tiny dent on the outside cardboard of the box (not the inside box). So yes, it's often used, but you really want to look at it. On the other hand, I bought an open box (excellent) PS Portal. It was handed to me in a clear plastic bag with absolutely nothing. I promptly handed it back to them and told them I'd like to process a return. Go figure....
