This Pumptiva inflator stands out as a cheap dual mode pump that can also serve as a power bank, with the battery capacity and latching design drawing interest. It seems sturdier than the tiny portable inflators, and the wired backup is appealing if the battery runs down. The main drawbacks are the screw on valve connection, which can leak air while attaching and removing, and the USB C port is input only. Brand trust, review count, and battery longevity remain the biggest question marks, especially for roadside use.
Common Questions (5)
It has dual power capability, so it can be used as a wired pump if the battery dies. That matters because the built-in battery may be less reliable in extreme cold or heat, while a wired setup avoids depending on charge.
The $17.50 price is attractive, but the brand has limited reviews and some shoppers want more evidence on quality and longevity before trusting it. The battery capacity and dual-power design are the main selling points mentioned.
Yes, it can double as a power bank, but the USB-C port is input only per the listing, so it is not confirmed as a laptop-charging output. That makes it useful for charging the inflator itself, not necessarily for powering other devices.
Yes, the nozzle screws onto the tire valve instead of clamping on. That can leak a little air while attaching and unscrewing, and it does not have a quick-release style connection.
One report says it can do about two truck tires worth of air on a charge. It can also be attached and left running, and the latch helps in cold weather.

Where it would be good is if you have a slow leak and the car/mower/etc isn't near a power outlet. With a car odds are you can use a 12V pump but that may not be true with a mower. Still, it seems like an edge case. If you want an emergency pump in the car (and I do), I think a wired model makes more sense. This seems to make sense if you don't want to mess with getting out the 12V model and you can keep it in the house/garage where it won't over heat/freeze. Finally, I wouldn't be surprised if this lasts just a few years before the battery becomes a real limitation. I've been pleased with my 12V compressors that have generally lasted a decade or more (getting used maybe 1-2 per year).
