This Pumptiva inflator stands out as a cheap dual mode pump that can also serve as a power bank, with the battery capacity and latching design drawing interest. It seems sturdier than the tiny portable inflators, and the wired backup is appealing if the battery runs down. The main drawbacks are the screw on valve connection, which can leak air while attaching and removing, and the USB C port is input only. Brand trust, review count, and battery longevity remain the biggest question marks, especially for roadside use.

  • The inflator can also function as a power bank, which adds a second use beyond tire inflation.

  • The promo code SQH8IPBM reportedly still worked, but it required applying the code twice at checkout.

  • The inflator appears more solid than smaller portable tire inflators, which may help with day-to-day handling.

  • The unit can be attached and left on while it latches, which can reduce the need to babysit the inflation process.

  • The inflator reportedly screws onto the valve instead of clamping, which can cause tire pressure loss during unscrewing.

  • The screw-on valve nozzle can leak air while attaching, and the tube or nozzle may get unpleasantly warm during use.

  • The inflator's battery performance may be unreliable in winter or extreme heat, which makes it a risky choice for true roadside emergencies.

  • The inflator may provide limited air output, with one report estimating only about two truck tires worth of air.

Would it be stupid to travel with this on carry on luggage?im traveling to another state that family has a house and car which get only visited several times a year. It would be convenient to have this than calling AAA if any issues with the seldom used car not starting properly.
Have it shipped there instead

Purchased but canceled the order. I read on the portable one (same brand) that it does not come with a valve that clamps to the stem of a bike or car tire. It screws on. Tire pressure is lost in the process of unscrewing. Otherwise, I would've been all over this.

The only good selling points I see is capacity of the battery (if the number is honest) and dual power capability, so if the battery dies you can still use it as wired pump (hopefully). But then 12 reviews is not exactly much to go on either.

Can anyone speak on the longevity of this? Last inflator i bought died after pumping up 2 high pressure (80psi) utility truck tires, i pulled it apart & the lil joke of a seal on the piston in the compressor was cooked & no longer sealing

Tempting, but brand and limited reviews has me holding off.

Edit: A quick Google search is showing many brands caught misleading customers about the specs. Buyer beware.

I had a random one off of ali express that worked for 2 years before dying. It was $10 and only wireless. This one seems like a good enough deal for me! I'm in for one

I bought one of the portable ones a few weeks ago. Works well but only get about 2 tires worth on my truck. But you can attach it and forget. As cold as it is outside thats a plus! And it latches!

Same question. The name "Pumptiva" doesn't convey the message that this is a legitimate piece of equipment.
That totally depends on what application your are targeting.

So I just got something similar to this from Walmart. I gotta say, I DETEST the nozzle that goes on the tire's valve. It takes a few seconds to screw it on/off, meanwhile leaking air as it's doing so. It's not too significant, but I find it very annoying. Need to find something that has the locking mechanism like typical nozzles. Also, I had to fill about 8 PSI for a VW Tiguan from 30 to 38.5 PSI. The tube/nozzle got unpleasantly warm. I get it. These things probably have a tiny cylinder that's moving very quickly to pump enough air. At this rate, I just hope it's good for at least

Look on Amazon for quick release fittings that have a screw fitting on the other end. I bought a couple for my pumps.

My question is how do people remember to keep these charged? Ones that I bought are wire only because I dont have to remember to keep them charged, and whwn I need them they will work.
