I have this. The main downside is that it takes probably 3-4 minutes to slightly brown a marshmallow and that's IF you get it super close to the heater. It's just basically a tiny stovetop (the type with the coil that gets hot). The metal grate that is right next to the heating element gets darkened/burnt after the first use so it won't stay all clean looking either. Other than that, it's fun to use at the kitchen table.

Super helpful opinion. Seems like one should look for something either higher wattage or perhaps fan driven.

Maybe easier to get a chip tray and one of those buffet warmers or maybe just a candle? Looks good for parties though
