Damn I just bought the balance form attachment. This looks way better
I'm not so sure about that.
The BlanceFrom attaches to a squat rack. This takes up more space next to a squat rack.
Based on photos, the BalanceFrom has two rollers on the upright for the weight trolly. This Mikolo's trolly seems to slide up and down the upright without roller requiring regular lubrication.
I haven't see these in person, so I don't know for sure, of course.
Mikolo also has squat racks with lat pulldown attachments, and they may be a better deal than that BlanceFrom rack as the Mikolos come with a lot more attachments. Attachments one actually needs. Many report that the BlanaceFrom is sent WITHOUT the safety pins.
This is a good entry to test if you really are gonna stick to exercising. If you know youre gonna use it for real, I would recommend saving up for a weight stack. Weight stack is a gamechanger as 50% of the time of your back exercise is just loading plates.

AGREE! Bought my first squat rack on a SD for the Mikolo F4 version 2.0, which includes a lat pull down feature at 1:1 ratio from Walmart deal. A 1:1 ratio means the weight you put on the lat cable pulley system is the weight you are lifting. Unlike the 2:1 ratio where you have to load twice the weight to lift what you are actually wanting to lift. ChatGPT says only the F4 version 2.0 and the Mikolo HR05 model has 1:1 ratio cable pulley systems. All other Mikolo squat rack models are 2:1 ratio cable pulley systems. You may need to verify.
Spend about $120 more and get the Mikolo F4 version 2.0 squat cage if you have the room. It has the 2-inch spacing between the 1-inch holes which I learned from another thread is a high criteria feature for many. I'm SO GLAD I did because you can more precisely set the height of your J-hooks, safety bars, etc. I bought extra sets of used J-hooks online which makes life easier when moving from squat, to bench, to deadlift, to two-hand overhead press, etc.
BTW, the Mikolo F4 version 2.0 is very stable, tight, and the plastic pulleys are smooth and quiet. I sprayed some silicon spray on the pulleys, vertical bars where weights slide up and down, etc. I would not recommend oil as a lubricant which attracts dust and grime over time. Great build, easy assembly with good fitting parts. I am drawn to exercise on it.... it is like a jungle gym for adults! My set up is indoors which will make a big difference to outdoors over time.
