If you just do pushups, pullups (using a $18 Amazon pullup bar) and squats (especially Bulgarian Split Squats) wearing this thing regularly, you can develop a pretty amazing body. No joke.
This is better imo as you can increment in a more granular manner.
The front and back have a large flap that comes down over the pockets and velcros in place, then a left and right strap that loop through a hook on the back then Velcro to the front to belt it around your torso. It works well and seems like it will hold up well. The only minor issue I've come across is even with the straps as tight as they go, if you use it for weighted situps or back extensions it doesn't stay tight around your chest. So gravity will make it pull away and slap back against you. Not a deal breaker by any means, it's not enough slack to be painful just caught me off guard at first. Can remedy by rolling a towel underneath or get a second Velcro strap and wrap around the chest area if it bothers you.
I also haven't weighed it but someone else said the actual vest is 2lbs, so supposedly it's 22lbs fully loaded.
