These polarized sunglasses are best as cheap, disposable shades for driving, yard work, the beach, or keeping in the car. The polarization is described as decent, the frames stay put, and they are light and comfortable enough for everyday use. They also work well as backup pairs when losing or scratching nicer sunglasses is a concern. The main drawbacks are flimsy build quality, easy scratching, and coatings that can rub off or get sticky over time, with fit also feeling tight for wider faces. A practical low-cost spare if durability is not the priority.

  • Drivers and outdoor workers who want a cheap spare pair, because the polarization works well and the frames stay put during beach, yard work, and driving.

  • Beachgoers who want a sacrificial pair, because sand can scratch them and they are cheap enough to replace without worrying about damage.

  • Parents buying sunglasses for kids, because breakage or loss is low-stress when the pair is inexpensive.

  • People who lose sunglasses often, because these are comfortable, clear, and cheap enough to keep as backup pairs.

  • Shoppers expecting durable coatings, because the front tint can rub off and the soft-touch finish can get sticky or peel.

  • Buyers wanting premium optical or build quality, because the lenses are described as gas-station quality and the overall quality is dollar-store-like.

  • Drivers who need distortion-free lenses, because cheap lenses can cause light distortion that is not safe behind the wheel.

  • People with wider faces, because the frames can feel too tight and may cause a headache over time.

These are what I use for sunglasses. I probably have 10-15 pairs floating around right now. Curious if anyone has used the "night vision" glasses?

I bought these before and they're ok for the price. They scratch very easily but they are stylish. These are good for spares to have in the car or if you're going to a theme park or somewhere and don't want to lose your good pairs.

I have not gotten these specifically but have purchased very similar brands before and I've noticed that the coating on the front rubs off easily. I'm not super rough with them, wear them while driving and then take them off inside the car, but after a couple weeks the front tint (blue, specifically) start rubbing off. Just FYI. For a couple bucks each, I'd still get more though.

These are perfect for the beach when you don't want to risk your good sunglasses getting scratched with sand. I've got 25 year old Oakleys and won't take them to the beach, which is why they have lasted 25 years.

Really solid glasses for how cheap they are. They're not going to blow your mind with frame quality, but they stay put on your head, and the polarization works well for the beach or hanging out outside doing lawn/yard work and while driving. I have some thrown all around the home for when I need a pair of sunglasses in a pinch and when they fail or get too damaged, it doesn't hurt the wallet. Will buy these again and again.

I can't speak to this specific pair, but I've owned other yellow lens glasses marketed at "night vision". If they're anything like those, they shift everything to a yellow tint (obviously) that helps with contrast in low-light. It's absolutely a preference thing as some people find the yellow tint distracting while others appreciate being able to pick out objects easier in shadows. I prefer a magenta lens on dark mornings for hunting and find a yellow lens better for me midday. It's a cheap experiment at this pricepoint.
