Love this movie so much, sparked a lifelong passion for cyberpunk and anime for me.

During my last trip to Japan, I plunked down $250+ for a Kaneda action figure and his die-cast metal red bike to display in my home office. Don't judge me SD!

Good deal - FYI the bluray version is actually better than the 4K. They used DNR which messed with the image and colors.

This has the 1988 English dub, which is the best imo. I personally rank it higher than the newer English and even the original Japanese dub. I prefer it both in terms of the performances of the voice actors and for the script's subtly better faithfulness to the manga (which I understand is a weird thing to say).

Did they fix the lack of HDR on the 4K disc? The Blu-ray-dot-com review implies Funamation botched the disc exchange, but also that the 2nd pressing includes. Can't tell from the Amazon page because the reviews included DVD reviews from 2001.
