I have bought 3 Refurb Dyson, they always seem "like new" and all still work as NEW after years and years.
I don't even need a warranty with Dysons they just WORK really well! Very few things are like that these days! TWO THUMBS UP!
Under $200 is my PRICE to BUY!

I did not like the v8 for an average size home. Battery was never enough. And that it requires 2 filters. I ended up giving away the v8 for a better model.

I got the V11 thru a deal such as this. It worked but had issues. I just made a warranty claim about 20 months in (manufacture claim) and they sent me what I needed. It was a lot easier than expected and I would repurchase. Off to check this one out.

Decent deal, but I recommend anyone with hard floors get the Absolute model that has the microfiber head. Works SO much better. You could try the 3rd party ones, but I can't vouch if they are comparable or not.

Same, have had 3 refurbs over the years. All have been great. 2 though Woot and 1 from eBay offical store.

I have this model and when the battery died a few years ago I bought an adapter to use it with my dewalt batteries, which last longer than the original. They also made adapters to use with other types of tool batteries like ryobi etc. That said I agree you can't really vacuum your whole house without recharging or switching batteries. I have a few dewalt batteries so I just switch them out if it dies before I'm done using it

How much of an upgrae3 would the V8 Absolute be ove4 my old V7 Fluffy?

I just bought an aftermarket battery because the last one died, but I'm contemplating grabbing a new one if the price justifies it.

Afaik the V8 is the best one that works with power tool battery adapters.
