These are awesome! If you're not aware, this (and other Cento products) has a "Find My Field" code on each can that you can use to lookup the actual farm that those tomatoes were grown in (in Italy)! It's very cool, and zooms in like google earth satellite image. https://www.cento.com/brands/cent...-field.php

Yeah, as long as a can isn't leaking or the ends aren't puffed out a dent doesn't hurt anything.

Sucks I missed this deal but these are the best tomatoes for making pizza sauce. Refuse to use anything else.

Tuttorosso doesnt make San Marzano tomatoes, they make San Marzano "style" tomatoes. and they cost more than this at my store.

You will most likely get dented cans. Tried twice with Amazon...both times had multiple dented cans to the point many were unusable.
Mine aren't dented. I ordered 5x6 cans. Maybe I was just lucky. Dented cans as long as they can be opened are fine IMO.

What style of pizzas are you making? I love these, but which ones have you tried to make you never want to try others?

I agree these are awesome tomatoes. I use these for pasta sauce and Bianco tomatoes for my neo pizzas. Bummed I missed this deal.

I love watching his stuff. He's the reason I started using better tomatoes.

this is not for you. just use ketchup on your pizza for sauce. Crylol
The bulk of the price is shipping tomatoes halfway around the world from italy.

I'd rather buy something grown and canned locally and not pay for the crude when buying tomatoes.

Neapolitan style pizza. Just hand-crush the tomatoes, remove the heavy skin/ends and add a little salt/pepper/basil and it's good to go. I used to make a pizza sauce with 10+ ingredients but I love the freshness/simplistic nature of these tomatoes/recipe.
