This DeWalt 20V six tool combo kit is landing as an in store clearance find, with the strongest value tied to the $439 tag and occasional lower checkout prices around $400. The bundle includes two batteries, a charger, and a rolling toolbox, and the clearance price has shown up at multiple Home Depot locations. The main drawback is that the kit skips a hammer drill and feels weaker than higher end setups, so it is less appealing if most of the tools are already covered. A solid clearance bundle if the included lineup matches the job.
The kit can be purchased for $439 when it shows up as an in-store clearance item at specific Home Depot locations.
The in-store clearance price can reportedly be found by using the "check nearby stores" option and switching store location to one that has the kit in stock.
Some shoppers report getting an additional lower out-the-door price in-store, including a $400 purchase after a $439 clearance tag.
The rolling toolbox bundle may be especially attractive when the buyer does not already own most DeWalt-compatible tools from other brands.
Inventory can be very limited, with reports of stock dropping from two units to one and only one remaining in-store after purchase.
The website price may not match the in-store clearance price, so the online listing can mislead shoppers.
A 10% off coupon reportedly could not be applied because the kit was marked as clearance.
The kit may feel incomplete for some buyers because it reportedly lacks a hammer drill and includes weaker tools, leading to buyer's remorse and return consideration.
