I've had a few of these. They last a few outings, then develop pinhole leaks in an unrepairable location. That was my experience, and I've had two, then replaced those two under warranty and it happened again. They used to have a lifetime warranty, but after one replacement, you're SOL.

Not insulated. Only use in warm weather or on top of something warm.

13 ounces. Not too bad for weight. They don't mention anything about R value so difficult to tell if it is good enough for colder temps.

This is essentially for a last resort. Its an upgrade from sleeping on the ground but thats about it and it does not last more 5 trips, depending on conditions.

My klymit lasted a lot longer than 5 trips. It was at least twice this price at time I bought it, but similar design.

It is being used as a blanket?

R-value measures a sleeping pad's capacity to insulate you from the cold ground, with higher numbers (typically 1–7+) indicating better thermal resistance and warmth. A higher R-value means less body heat escapes, essential for preventing cold-ground heat loss.

Recent reviews are very bad: paper thin, failed on first night, stopped holding air after 1-12 uses, too narrow, & useless customer service.

Just another direct marketing Chinese vendor that doesn't provide any warranty support.

Someone mentioned in the review the R-value "is about 2.1". Whatever "is about" means.

Not apples to oranges but I did the vanlife thing for a year and used a Therm-a-Rest non-inflating pad on top of 3 layers of anti-fatigue mats you are suppose to stand on. Much more expensive pad ($60-ish) but it never lost its initial comfort. My set up was definitely on the firm side but having numerous poor experiences with the inflatable kinds, I would never go that route unless it was only for 2-3 uses.

That's likely not real. Any other inflatable pad of this weight and price doesn't have much of any R-value.
For example: https://www.rei.com/product/24653...0018909153
My klymit claims about 1, but it's not for cold weather by itself.

Airbeds that leak in the middle of the night are super uncomfortable. I prefer sleeping on cardboard boxes folded flat in a few layers than that!
