Price match at Best Buy. Tips for this


Find a microcenter that shows it has stock better if in same state or nearby state
Go to Best Buy online chat and request price match
Be polite to CS rep
If they're say no, say thanks and hop in another chat and try again
Not sure if it helps but I do this logged out of Best Buy, in incognito and restart incognito if failed. This is incase they track chat / what former rep said.

Reminder: even if you don't have a Microcenter nearby, you can buy online on Best Buy, then price match via customer chat, just be ready to send a link to a Microcenter ad showing it in stock. It's what I did -- finished the price match before heading to Best Buy to pickup.

this was absolutely wild -Microcenter in Brooklyn had an entire wall full of Mac mini's all reserved. Was able to snag 1 (limit of 1 only) for the $399. I guess it's a pretty good deal. anybody have a video or person on YouTube they go to that can show all the great things we can do with this Mac mini?

For any other code folks out there: it looks like this queries the URL for each store and looks for the <span class="inventoryCnt"> to get the inventory count from each store's webpage. But looking at the code of the microcenter webpage, the page seems to also have a "var inventory" with a data structure has each store location with a property "qoh" that's either 0 or 1 -- and seems to indicate (correlate) with whether the store has any quantity on-hand. So eg, it looks like a shortcut is just to load the page for any store, check the var inventory, and see if there's any stores with qoh=1. It looks like, right now, they're all 0. eg in chrome, View -> Developer -> View Source, and search for:

"qoh":1
