Price match at Best Buy. Tips for this

Find a microcenter that shows it has stock better if in same state or nearby state
Go to Best Buy online chat and request price match
Be polite to CS rep
If they're say no, say thanks and hop in another chat and try again
Not sure if it helps but I do this logged out of Best Buy, in incognito and restart incognito if failed. This is incase they track chat / what former rep said.
Send me money via venmo

Good luck all!

Reminder: even if you don't have a Microcenter nearby, you can buy online on Best Buy, then price match via customer chat, just be ready to send a link to a Microcenter ad showing it in stock. It's what I did -- finished the price match before heading to Best Buy to pickup.

Its out of stock on BestBuy (only sold by third party sellers, which BestBuy refuses to price match)

Community Reviews

This is a strong entry-level Mac mini deal, especially for everyday work, photo editing, light video editing, 3D printing, CAD, and even some music production or AI assistant use. The M4 chip is described as fast and efficient, with 16GB RAM handling Adobe apps, Resolve, Fusion, Logic Pro, and Ableton without trouble. The main drawback is the 256GB SSD, which feels tight and may push buyers toward external storage or an upgrade path. Best Buy price matching also worked for many through chat when a Micro Center in-stock link and ZIP code were provided.

  • The Mac mini can handle Fusion daily workloads with ease.

    Mitya

  • The Mac mini can run DaVinci Resolve smoothly for video editing tasks.

    TonyT1064

  • Best Buy price matching can bring the Mac mini down to $399 plus tax.

    Living_Legend

  • Micro Center store stock can differ from website listings, enabling in-store pickup deals.

    SensiblePocket571

  • Best Buy price matching can fail when the listing is sold by third-party sellers.

    DaveP2444

  • Best Buy price matching can be refused when stock is not available at the provided zip code.

    dcmalk

  • The 256GB SSD capacity can feel too small for modern storage needs.

    shinseiRomeo

  • Mac mini compatibility can become a problem for certain software environments like Oracle or SAP.

yes, you have to make sure they are price matching a best buy item, vs 3rd party selling on best buy site. This is the best buy to share with chat rep to price match. https://slickdeals.net/click?sdtid=19151707&sdfpid=1222576&sdfid=9&lno=1&trd=https+www+bestbuy+com+product+a+&pv=&au=&u3=M0oBzZQcAkwjcjBOjbI-LhuKVtGPBt1-W8trWiU2U9uJXMT0G38FXVNaz8VmU91BA7YBzWb1NYeRP6OOX8I_dsr2jQrv_NzCvHbnLIza_sb-t_u8Js-DHcOe-Dqz5UcQYEFCTrPnwUdnvDUh2H_cjHYBpweBNHUHPrUIJ7-iN-qGRS5wnpSkucyAqBmwybj2o7OZr3NdPMticBzgcGJZ1-CuIaB2Ta4&peid=7ecf3da4-6506-46c3-8c34-29877d882891&adobeRef=0274ee8d90c94107b9997b4fd5abeef60001

The BB link helped.
Got it price matched.
Now, just need to figure out what I can possibly do with a desktop.
Haven't used a desktop in ages. But usually use my laptop at my desk plugged in to a monitor and connected to a keyboard/mouse

No luck with BestBuy. Each agent would inevitably ask my zip code and say they can't price match since it's not in stock at my location. Bummer.
