Price match at Best Buy. Tips for this

Find a microcenter that shows it has stock better if in same state or nearby state
Go to Best Buy online chat and request price match
Be polite to CS rep
If they're say no, say thanks and hop in another chat and try again
Not sure if it helps but I do this logged out of Best Buy, in incognito and restart incognito if failed. This is incase they track chat / what former rep said.
Send me money via venmo

Good luck all!

Reminder: even if you don't have a Microcenter nearby, you can buy online on Best Buy, then price match via customer chat, just be ready to send a link to a Microcenter ad showing it in stock. It's what I did -- finished the price match before heading to Best Buy to pickup.

Its out of stock on BestBuy (only sold by third party sellers, which BestBuy refuses to price match)

Fantastic deal if it ran Windows. MacOS is pretty worthless for anything serious.
MacOS is POSIX. Your comment just shows that you don't know as much as you imagine.

grant full access to your computer computer- its a security nightmare-its like having unprotected sex in the 80s shake head
I would never give this access to my personal accounts. I would just treat it as an employee and give it its own accounts including the computer.

I have a MBP at work and run Parallels on it and so far I have not run into any Windows product I could not run on it. I have office timeline for PowerPoint, Notepad ++, the free MS visual editor (both Mac and Windows versions), etc. I am unsure what else to run on it. It is the M3 Pro cpu.

I have noticed that the MS 365 office product will suggest faster on Windows than on a Mac, such as in outlook - suggest an email address, etc.

I am normally a Window person, but just picked up a MBP M5, 32GB, and 1TB. and want to see how well Adobe runs on it. The issue I run into is the incompatible drive formats ... Mac does not write NTFS, for example. The cross-platform compatible FAT formats are not very space efficient. This one I have not figured out yet... pretty new to Macs (about a year). Does anyone have a suggestion.

An M4 at this price is really great.

The Ram, no, the SSD you technically can buy it's tricky and voids the warranty. However I've watched reviews and the 16gb is still very capable and you can plug in a thunderbolt external SSD

True, Macs work great for many IT roles. But in a lot of real-world operations (inventory, POS, shipping, banking, airport systems), Windows is still the standard because of legacy software and hardware compatibility.
I am not sure if it will be that way in the future... Microsoft is really falling behind with ARM and their approach to AI is aggressive and a turn off to a lot of businesses with cybersecurity knowledge. Macs are becoming more affordable, Apple is finally beginning to invest and bring R&D innovations down to their entry level devices. Of course I'm spitballing, but I foresee a shakeup.

This is a great price for a baseline Mac Mini. I checked the Micro Center in Fairfax, VA and they had 19 in stock well 18 after I left. Not all stores have them and their website is not accurate with their stock. My local store showed zero in stock but when I went in they had 19.
I love that specific location, but they are not great at updating their stock. I wish I had known.

Unfortunately, MacOS is not usable in Oracle or SAP environment. But I agree with many that Windows becomes so irritating with AI and ads that Mac is a feasible home laptop option, especially if you use cloud backup/storage or/and retail NAS. I however like the Windows hard drive Pool a lot, for being simple, robust easily transferable and super easy to integrate into a home network as shared resources. Apple is light years away of such ability.
They weren't when AirPorts were popular over a decade ago (unfortunately) and I have that exact setup. I have a ugreen NAS that I use Time Machine to backup to in addition to all the typical uses like my own personal "cloud"
