I got this CPU on the Costco desktop deal, $1,500 for this CPU 32GB RAM and RTX 5070. Now it looks like a hell of a deal, just the RAM and CPU is more than $1,000 alone lol

Not much better than the 9800x3d and draws quite a bit more power. It's not a bad product. The 7800x3d is a more cost effective high frame rate AMD AM5 socket x3D CPU with the lowest power draw.

Wrong. In a strictly gaming scenario 7600x3d is best bang for buck at $200. Unless you're gaming at 1080 on a 5080 equivalent or 5090 , fps is just a few shorter than 9800x3d.

I am looking to either do a new build or maybe a new buy. I reviewed my last purchase of memory from Newegg 5 years ago (most recent build) and it was 64GB of 3200 DDR4 RAM for $180. 6000 DDR5 is going to cost $840 today. Wow.
