I have this keyboard on a previous sale here that made front page. It has its learning curve, it takes a lot of getting used to. I keep accidentally clicking on the wrong key. I bought it when I started working in a hybrid setting (half home/half office) and I used to take it to the office. I stopped using it because I was frustrated. I ended up getting a Logitech MX Mini. Just something to think about.
The Keychron K3 Version 2 is a very slim wireless mechanical keyboard that fits well for work and travel, with a compact layout and full function row. The brown switches are described as light, and the keyboard feels tough and well made. The low profile design avoids wrist strain for some setups, but the keys can feel mushy and take getting used to, with occasional missed presses. Battery reliability is the main concern, with reports of charging problems and Bluetooth wake up delays, so it is best suited to someone who values portability over fuss free long term use.
people who want a tiny work keyboard with a full F row because the K3 v2 is described as very small yet "generally good for work," and the commenter says the keys aren't too high so they don't feel like they need a keyboard pad or get wrist strain.
office/hybrid workers who are okay with a learning curve because one user said they used the K3 when working hybrid (half home/half office) and found it took "a lot of getting used to," even though they eventually stopped using it when frustrated.
buyers who need reliable wireless performance because multiple commenters report battery issues-one says the battery stopped holding a charge after a short time, and another says the battery stopped charging after a little over a year (out of warranty).
people who don't want to deal with accidental mis-presses because one user said the K3 has a learning curve and they kept "accidentally clicking on the wrong key," which led them to stop using it when frustrated.
people who rely on fast Bluetooth wake-up because one commenter said the Bluetooth connection was "terrible" and takes a long time to wake up, and they also criticized the lack of a USB dongle.
buyers who are sensitive to mushy switch feel or worry about key registration because one user said the K3 v2 keys feel "mushy in a bad way" and they "don't feel I am registering my key presses."
people who want a comfortable typing angle without adding accessories because a commenter said their Keychron K2 was steeply angled and "absolutely requires a wrist rest to avoid aches/pain," and they moved to a different slim Keychron instead.
Not always. One K2 battery died after about a year and became wired-only, and a K3 battery reportedly stopped holding a charge after a short time. Another report says Bluetooth wake-up can be slow, so battery and wireless convenience may degrade with use.
The brown switches are described as very light to touch, but the K3 v2 switch feel is also called mushy by some. If you dislike the mushy feel of Cherry MX browns, these may still be worth trying, but the tactile feel is not as crisp as some other boards.
Yes. It is described as a tough, very well-made keyboard, and used units are still considered good. The main caveats are the learning curve and the reported battery/Bluetooth issues over time.
Yes. The low-profile layout can take getting used to and may lead to accidental wrong-key presses at first. It is small and practical for work, but some users eventually switched to a different compact keyboard after frustration.
The K3 is low-profile enough that it reportedly does not cause wrist strain or require a keyboard pad. That is a contrast with the steeper Keychron K2, which was said to need a wrist rest to avoid aches.

I have all 75% (red switches not brown like these) keyboards I use for work and gaming, this low profile Keychron K3 v2 , full height Keychron k2 v2, and my favorite LEMOKEY X4 *full height (their gaming brand). The batteries are all still good for the K3/K2 I use them on battery till the battery runs out and then charge em, I don't leave them in plugged all the time.
I had the browns didn't like them and returned them for the reds didn't like how it clicked or I am not sure. Just didn't like the browns.
The K3 v2 is nice enough but the switch build just aren't as nice as the X4 which is perfect other than being a completely wired keyboard. This K3 you don't feel is too high don't get wrist strain or need a keyboard pad. But the switches are so much better on the x4. The x4 are prelubed and feel great, but don't like the keys being so tall on it. So what did i do? Got low profile keycaps from amazon and put them on the X4 . Perfection with just new keycaps.
My x4 keyboard with these keycaps are the first review with picture https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPPD643Z?th=1
I am not sure how this K3 v2 exists here there is a K3 v3 that replaced it years ago? This keyboard is nice but the keys are mushy in a bad way. I don't feel I am registering my key presses. But is pretty good all around and very tiny with a full F row for work.

Excuse my ignorance, but would this not be a better deal? I picked this up last year for about $38, even though it's $45 now. I use it daily for work, but I don't see how it's different from this deal.
Edit: my mistake. I now see that it's optical vs mechanical switches. I saw brown on both listings and assumed they were the same.

Don't buy. I had one for a little over a year before the battery stopped charging (of course just out of warranty). Also, it's bluetooth connection was terrible and takes a long time to wake up. All keyboards should come with a usb dongle and only have bluetooth as an add-on but Keychron refuses to do this. I replaced the Keychron with a Lofree Flow Lite84 and much happier with it.

I have a v1 with blues and it's not the same as a full profile blue switch. Ie, sometimes you will get the click without the actual key action. It's great for writing out long texts which is what I use it for. My primary keyboards are either blue, green based or a Model M.

I had the same journey. Fell for the mechanical keyboard hype and bought a Keychron. I don't get it because it's not comfortable. Ended up getting a Logitech MX instead.

The low-profile design can help avoid wrist strain and may reduce the need for a keyboard pad.
The keyboard can work well for work because it is small and includes a full F row for productivity tasks.
The brown switches can feel very light to touch, which may suit users who prefer lighter actuation.
A used unit can still be good because Keychron keyboards are described as tough and very well made.
Battery performance can fail after about a year, which can force wired-only use.
The keyboard can have a learning curve that leads to accidentally pressing the wrong key during daily use.
The mushy feel reported with the K3 v2 can make key presses feel like they are not registering properly.
Bluetooth wake-up and connection can be terrible, and the lack of a USB dongle can add friction for wireless use.

Battery died after about a year so can only use it wired.
I'm using the slim keychron office style keyboard and I like it well enough.
I had the browns didn't like them and returned them for the reds didn't like how it clicked or I am not sure. Just didn't like the browns.
