Not this one but one just like (25 feet or so) it same res saved me tons on a remodel. Old cast iron. New addition had pvc. I could not find the cleanout or where the addition exited under the slab no matter how hard. Bought one of these, zip tied it to steel cable every x feet so i could measure, put a pingpong ball on it, removed toilet sent it down found the cleanout in no time (went outside and measured boom hit the buried cleanout 1st try), also was able to verify there was a new run to that new bath i could tie new sewer into for the rest of the place. But yeah limited distance, pretty good lighting i thought though.
Can't beat that result for 25 bucks much less 12.

People are all crapping on it but I used one similar in the past to help run cabling and it did good enough. My issue with this is the app requirement. The one I got stopped updating theirs so I can't use it on my newest phone. I've since stopped buying these and found one with built in screen. More expensive but lasts a lot longer. I wouldn't recommend because you're installing some ghetto app that will eventually stop or break.

Those of you who think this is a good deal, it is. But, it will make you want to upgrade to one with a reticulating head

False resolution listed in specs, you will get nowhere near 1920p. More so around 480p. Will be useful but only in select circumstances and even then, barely.

I would (and have) pay a little more for one with a screen: 1) no reliance on an app with questionable future, and 2) no need to involve your phone in a potentially messy job
