I was about to say - who do they make these for: Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk?
regular people are better off buying the 98 inch TCL QM7K for $2000 - drops a zero from this price for 94% of the picture quality.
I personally returned the 83 inch G4 and got the 98 QM8K - best decision ever! The QM8K holds its own in black levels, halo/blooming mitigation, yet it destroys the flagship OLED in brightness, specular highlights, HDR pop, & overall "Wow" factor.
The QM7K is the best picture quality per dollar on the market today IMO, close to the QM8K in real world use. The qm8k gets briger, has thiner bezels, and has a metalic remote that feels more compact & premium than the chunky plastic remote of the G4, which is the same as my B2 remote Lol
I will say, I checked out the TCL QM7/Qm8 series at best buy for the first time a few months ago. Very impressed..almost OLED quality. I had the option to upgrade my living room 75" Samsung MU9000...if I had it my way I would've went 85" TCL QM8. SIZE baby! Unfortunately I didn't have WAF (wife acceptance factor) and settled on a 77" Sony Bravia 8 XR 80, found new for $1100 OTD. Very good deal, I am not disasspointed.
More thinking about repair folks perhaps spreading the word. There's crime rings that break into some communities that are upwards of 40% vacation homes,
but yeah I hear you....lugging this behemoth out is another story. I would never purchase it anyway, but I would be pissed if I was out 20k.
