The igpu 780M is actually not bad for light gaming or with older titles. I have the higher TDP version (8845HS). And it's definitely not 2k LOL

Plenty of 1920x1200 laptops are shown as 2K. According to Google, 1920x1200 is commonly referred to as 2K. While I used to think 1440p displays were 2K, enough manufacturers use 1920x1200 as 2K that it's become commonplace.
