I would only grab this for a dark room. Tom's is reporting SDR brightness at 103 nits which is abysmal. I love Panasonic and would love a larger OLED so I was looking at this, but SDR is probably more than 70% of content that people watch, at least 50% and there seems to be some kind of issue with this TV in that respect. I have never seen it that low before.

šŸ’Æ I bought a cheap TV with Fire. Absolute regret. You get bombarded with ads. The TV defaults that output even with an external device, so you always see it on startup. There's a couple others issues, definitely something as well with how casting works. Nothing like my Sony with Android TV (not that it doesn't have its own issues but they're minor in comparison). I will never buy another TV with that Fire garbage on it. Rather pay a premium.

Great TV.
Right now this is the mid tier champ.
Can barely tell any difference vs. its big brother the flagship Z95B.
As close to being plasma like motion picture without having actual plasma.
Panasonic is basically Sony quality without the tax & PS5 & 1000XM6 halos.

While I love to give my business to Best Buy, but this is an arrangement with Beach who is 1 of 2 authorized distributor of this TV, delivery is only to your door.

I would pay the Xtra $30 to get Amazon to bring into the room you want & unbox setup on stand.

103 nits? That's my VT30 plasma level from 2012! Unreal for 2025.

Wild that from the article the C5 and the S90F (both mid-tier from their own makers) are 3x and 5x brighter in SDR. Yeah I'd pass on this Panasonic every time. It seems only the 77-inch version used this poor option, whereas the other sizes used the LG panel in them.

I like to support small local businesses like value Electronics, they were the OG importers & distributors of Panasonic when nobody else was importing them. They're also the only distributors of high end Sharp XLED Displays in the US.

This is a somewhat regular sale price for the LG C Series OLED (give or take) - and a pretty easy price to get the LG B series at.

The specs and fire TV really kill this one

Get roku or android stick/box and leave the TV offline. I let the TV OS handle just the TV function and don't burden it with Apps and always connecting online and have had no problems so far. My tvs are android, but I think this will apply to all OS unless the TV will not function without being connected.

I question the accuracy of the peak brightness in SDR comments/review I've had no complaints in a fairly bright room both in filmmaker and Game pictures modes. I got this for $1500 at end of last year. No complaints this is an incredible value, and great TV! The FireOS really isn't a big deal either.
