The games sold are brand new. I fail to see your logic there.

Amazon Music is now limited. If you want the same access that Prime once had, you gotta pay an additional subscription fee. Same with Luna, same with certain shipping options, same with the video streaming. So its like why should I pay even more for Prime annually if I'm getting even less than I did when the annual fee was only like $85. Then depending on where you live, two day shipping isn't actually two day shipping. So its like you pay for Prime but if you want "true Prime" its a lot of added subscriptions on top of that. Which is very expensive.

Woot's extra 20 percent off makes several Switch games noticeably cheaper, especially with Prime shipping offsetting tax. Link's Awakening, Xenoblade, Echoes of Wisdom, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate all drew interest at around $36 to $40, and the savings were enough to beat other stores for some purchases. The main drawback is that shipping and tax can shrink the discount fast, and some listings appear to be international or Latin America versions. A few titles also drew gameplay complaints, especially repetitive or confusing progression, so the value depends on the specific game and final checkout total.

  • Prime members can offset unavoidable tax with free shipping savings.

  • Some deals land around used-market pricing after taxes and shipping.

    DonutPowerbarrera_j

  • Echoes of Wisdom can play very differently than expectations while staying enjoyable.

    dabogues

  • GAMER code reuse can be possible for at least some purchases.

    Mreowsers

  • Shipping and tax can significantly reduce the impact of the 20% discount.

    DonutPower

  • The GAMER code can be expired and the 20% discount may disappear on the site or app.

    GreenMarine

  • A deal code can fail with a limit error after reaching a quantity cap.

    tonkotsu

  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate can feel repetitive and button-mashy with limited variety.

Two questions:

01. Is the "international version" of Animal Crossing compatible with the Switch 2 upgrade that was released on January 15th? (And the charge $5 for... woof)

02. Do "upgrades" just download the new version to internal storage and use the physical media as DRM like Xbox and PlayStation? Or would you not see improved loading speeds if most assets are read from an OG switch card?

New to these somewhat archaic methods, but the deals I've been getting between $400 for the MKW bundle (5x $80 eShop cards from Sams Club) and the $17.50 Cyberwhoops 2077 pricing have been awesome. 👍

Yeah, I have the same question. Can I use the coupon code for multiple orders or do I have to cram everything into 1 order?
I was able to use the code again.
Weird that it won't let me ship Mario Brothership to Oregon...

Anyone know why the coupon code works, but any attept to apply rewards points reverts back to just using the CC on your account? Already missed SMG/SMG2 on this.

Yeah. What gives? Thought it's valid through through 2/1/26 at 11:58pm CT?

It's still 1/31/26 1:18 AM PT. We still have over a whole day and a half to use the code.

Edit: Was going to finish my big order I put together too.

I got DK Bananza from Costco for $40 and I still don't think it's all that great (the gimmick/gameplay mechanic of destroying things gets old and repetitive quickly) I would be kicking myself if I paid $52.
So you didn't like Mario odyssey either because to me it's very similar to that game. And myself like most people think it's a very good game and the destruction physics and best I've every seen beating even red fraction to me.plus it's what Makes the game very unique.

Some of you live under a rock or in a bubble. You act as if movie and music rights have gone up like crazy.Netflix prices have up like crazy because of rights but I got rid of that but they said because per it's almost the price of prime without all it's benefits.

Exactly. I dont purchase stuff as often because of that $35 restriction. Its not too bad . With Prime, I saw no gain. I didn't save anything because the money "saved" ends up going over to the subscription cost. Sure as hell not gonna pay to watch content that has ads interrupting.
Once in a while I'll do their one week trial or pay the $2 or whatever it is to get Prime for just a week. THAT is when it seems worthwhile for those one or two orders that can show up by 7am the next day.
I don't have a restriction on my prime membership you stilll don't have to spend $35 to get free shipping. And if you mean to get free on a non membership Walmart and just about every other site has the requirement

Why is the deal marked as expired? The GAMER code isn't even solved yet! Still waiting as 2/1 hasn't happened yet.

I dont use Netflix. I only have Hulu because its free with my phone plan, but I watch something on there maybe once a year.

I dont mind if the cost was a couple bucks more, but when the Prime price goes up and up and up, while the useful Prime features get put behind yet another paywall... its like NO! Thats a slap in the face. While back in the day the non Prime music service was just fine cause I could listen to a few artist's albums with no issue. Then they even put that behind a paywall. Forcing the shuffle feature. Thats just greed.

I was referring to the standard Amazon account restrictions. i have no problem with just having a regular account. Last I had Prime was for a whole year. I didnt really have anything to purchase. Their subscription fee went up. The movie streaming was the only thing I was kinda sorta using consistently enough and they shuffled that all up behind paid subscriptions and with commercials on everything. When I ordered little things here and there... that 2 day shipping was more like 4 days shipping or "itll get there when it gets there"
That was enough to have me question "what am I getting for paying the $100+ a year?"

And yea, I order from Walmart and Best Buy more often now than I had in the past. Best Buy has free shipping just for making a free account.

Other than quasi-open-world, I didn't find it to be anything like Odyssey. The destruction is good, but feels repetitive and like a gimmick. Here's the gameplay loop: Can't find what you need? Smash stuff until you do. There's barely any variety. It's just button mashing the whole game. I'm very bored with it.
