This is normal for a running beanie. What that design does is it keeps your head warm with the inner layer then if you sweat through it, it outer layer freezes without freezing to your scalp. I have several running beanies that aren't this exact design but very similar for extreme cold running

If you look at the Amazon reviews and also the Amazon video, this beanie appears to be oversized. There's quite a bit of excess at the top. 🎩

This is normal for a running beanie. What that design does is it keeps your head warm with the inner layer then if you sweat through it, it outer layer freezes without freezing to your scalp. I have several running beanies that aren't this exact design but very similar for extreme cold running

its 20 below zero. nothing gonna keep you warm outside for long.

The weird part is where it claims to also be an under helmet beanie. That excess material won't work out well under a helmet.
