If you care about fidelity and ownership instead of compressed 192kbit rented streams, yeah.

More like iconic 90s band that helped define the grunge genre

Nostalgia is a good way for companies to make money off of us and sell us the same crap over and over again LOL.

I still do, but rarely this new remastered stuff. They are too loud and distorted. I'll stick with my copy of In Utero from 93 that sounds great. Think I paid a dollar for it at a thrift store 10 years ago.

Nirvana..horribly overrated. Record companies were doing all they could to get out of the bad record deals they made.

if you're a fan of the album I'd def check out the 2013 mix that Albini did with the surviving band members. It not only includes a great remaster of the originals, but the "alternate" 2013 mix provides a completely new experience, using different recorded takes from the original recordings (unused guitar solos, vocal takes etc). Plus it also has the unreleased Albini mixes of the album's singles that were not included on the original 93 release (the label famously convinced the band to let Butch Vig remix them). Listening to the album with the Albini single mixes plugged in makes for a much better experience IMO, especially All Apologies, they're all much more raw and dynamic like the rest of the album
