Shipping is $29 for this.

I have two chips and an NVMe in my cart. They want 49 to ship.

Might as well go to Amazon and get retail

Central Computers' CPU warranty is 3 years, but since it's an OEM part you have to ship the CPU to Central, then they ship it to AMD for replacement. So while this is better than some OEMs that only offer a 1 year warranty, the turn-around in a replacement part will likely be slower than if you have a retail part. Since it's not a manufacturer's warranty per-se, there may also be issues with credit card extended warranty if you have an issue between years 3 and 4.

if you are not in CA, they aren't charging taxes, so for higher ticket items (such as a big GPU) it can be a good bit of cost savings even with shipping

OEM means 1 year warranty.

If Central Computers goes bankrupt any warranty with them is void.
