Many producers of honey will use processing steps to remove pollen that's in the honey to make the taste and texture consistent. The Amazon brand honey is from Argentina, Canada, and US. There's no way Amazon can make each bottle consistent in color, texture, and taste without processing it. Then through chemical processing they can mimic corn syrup to be honey in testing labs. They add that in there to increase the volume and drive price down.
I'm not saying Amazon Brand's honey has corn syrup added. The only way to find out is to see if the honey will crystallize over time. I can tell you with my own personal experience that the bottle of Mike's Hot Honey in my cupboard for over 2 years has not crystallized vs the local honey has.

good deal. I remember in the winter time, mom used to mix honey, peppermint and whiskey for cough medicine. Of course whiskey makes you feel better anyway 😉

What do you think it is? Fake honey from wasps or something?

Adulteration: Honey is mixed with inexpensive sugar syrups (corn, rice, cane) to increase volume.

Wouldn't that be reflected in the ingredients?

If you believe what is written on a label, well.....check out olive oil. It even has a name, it's called "Honey Laundering" Do a search on that term to see for yourself and make your own decisions. Smilie

There's also "Raw Wildflower Pure Honey", for a few cents more: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Sav...B0CS5CTNMV
seems like a better product

probably less than zero percent. they list 3 countries of origin, so it's a blend? looks like high fructose corn syrup.

I've had a bottle of Mike's crystalize before as well as other bottles of real honey.
