These always seem so useful on paper, but mine just collect dust in the garage. Nice for the occasion camping trip.

Dang, second time I've missed it this month. Back to $329 now. It's only a 1 day deal each time. Maybe I'll just wait till a new model comes out. Slickdeals Frontpage / popular / and hot deals tabs feel inconsistent of late.

Edit- I don't think you can charge batteries with the inverter so yeah it's kinda useless versus getting a better battery pack.

Trying to think of the uses here. Most of them say use this money to go into a nice portable charger like an Anker Solix

If you don't need the charger or battery, there's this for $99. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../a#overlay

Does anyone have this and the Ryobi one? How do they compare besides a slight wattage bump over the Ryobi?

Specifically, the Ryobi is finicky to turn on, sometimes taking 5+ tries without any load plugged in.

A power station like Anker-Solix is fine if something relatively big and bulky like that fits your needs. This compact inverter is very convenient for those who are already using M18 batteries on the jobsite.
