Good set for the price. I bought this as much for the box as for the tools - I like it because the drawers make access and organization easy, and it's sturdy. I threw away the crumby plastic organizer trays to make room for more tools, and donated some of what it duplicated to a friend's teenager. Unlike a lot of tool sets that come with some sort of box, this one has extra space for more of what you need. This is what lives in my truck now.

How do you work on your truck with these dinky little sockets that max out at 14 mm and no 1/2" drive tools?
How do you ask snarky questions without bothering to read what you are replying to? I added my 1/2" sockets and other stuff since there was room in the box and no "kit" is comprehensive for every need. Also, just because I keep it in my truck doesn't mean I'm a truck mechanic or that my truck needs any work.
If you think this is dumb and want to go buy Husky tools, go for it - you now have permission. I bought this a year ago for the same price and have gotten plenty of use out of it with no complaints or anything broken. Not every deal has to be a unicorn created just for you, deal with it.

I agree. If you just need tools, the plastic case set of tools is far superior for all the useful wrenches and sockets. To be fair, the plastic case sucks and sockets fall out more often than I can count.
That said, I got this set during an Ace Hardware sale for $68 using a coupon, and I really just wanted the metal tool box which goes for $45-65 by itself. The tools themselves are fine, this set is missing the 1/2" sockets and driver. So if you need a complete set of tools, you might want to skip this.

I've been seeing a Xmas Special Buy set like this on clearance at Home Depot $89 and it's got twice as many sockets for only $9 more. https://www.homedepot.c

SAE is useless on newer cars, mowers, snowblowers, generators, etc, which im guessing is what 95% of people would be using this for.
