Had to look up WQHD vs QHD. Apparently they are the same thing - 16:9 2560x1440.

UWQHD is 21:9 3440x1440 which this monitor is not.

I have a 75 hz monitor. Can one really see a difference past that when gaming?

Yes the jump will be eye opening to you. Make sure you also enable the 300hz in windows setting too. Just moving your mouse around on the screen you'll notice a big difference

I just received mine today. If anyone has any questions let me know. For $200 it's pretty darn good. and 300hz is absolutely noticeable over my 144hz BenQ from 2021 (which btw was one of my fav monitors). I'm getting the Samsung G8 4K OLED 27" from Woot that comes next week probably as well.

Hey man so I have a question. I have no idea about monitors bro never used one for famine but I'm looking for one for my ps5…. Would this be good for a ps5? Looking for something under like 300 if possible but I have no dea what to look for just not trying to beak the bank but I will spend more if it will really make a difference

Question for desktop gaming. I have a pretty good A16 laptop with an AMD 7700S dGPU that powers a 16" 175hz FHD+ 16:10 screen. I can run Baldurs Gate 3, Helldivers 2, Total War Warhammer, and my favorite older games at high to ultra high settings.
I mention the games I play and their performance merely to describe my experience with my laptop. It's enjoyable enough using the laptop <2 ft. away.
My question is: is a 27" screen too large for viewing at that range (approx 2 ft)? I imagine I'd also have to dock the laptop and use an external keyboard. I'm worried about pixel density and size overkill. Looking for opinions.

That's fine, millions of people are using 27" monitors a couple feet away at their desk. 1440p resolution is fine at 27". Going up to 32" then 4K is preferable. I have 32" 4K at my main desk and I'm 2-3ft away.

PS5 refresh rate wont go above 120hz I believe due to HDMI output, not to mention graphics power PS5 isn't gonna be running any games at super high frame rates. So a monitor like this post that can do 300hz would be more than you could use on PS5. Then you need to choose which resolution you want, PS5 "can" do 4k depending on which games you are playing but depends on if you like to run your games in performance mode for higher frames or quality mode where it stays around 30 or 60 frames at higher resolution. PS5 doesn't feel like super strong hardware at this point so I would probably never try to play a AAA game at 4k. A 1440p (aka 2K) monitor seems like a good fit for regular PS5. So a 120hz 1440p monitor, or 144hz whatever you can find. It doesn't hurt anything if the monitor is capable of more if you want it to last longer into the future but that's up to you. I've played my PS5 on a 27" Acer Predator XB273U monitor before and it seemed like a good fit. Unless you want to watch 4K movies using your PS5, then factor that in.
