I have this tv still from Costco. Purchased in 2021. Blooms all over the place in black pictures. I like my Samsung mini led better. Wouldn't buy again

Rtings Shmtings. Who made them the last word on the quality of tvs? They quantify crap that the human eye probaly can't discern and the Chinese mfrs. make their tvs to do great on those tests but visually Samsungs, Sony and LG look better on every level. I bought a TCL qm7 after 7 years of having a semi premium Samsung and was shocked at how bad the picture quality was on a lot of content. Bought the TCL based on rtings review because the store demo was useless. Returned it. I caved recently and recommended to a friend to buy the qm5k based on great reviews for a budget TV. Hes had it about 1 month and tells me some of the content looks grainy or fuzzy. That was what my qm7 looked like too. Yeah.....if you go by rtings why would anyone ever by the big 3 manufacturers again? Its bunch of bs its like saying telling people to buy the cheapest because it has a hint of quality in a couple of aspects. Its amazing to me how many owners of quality tvs ditched their brand and hopped on the tcl and hisense wagon. Its like buying kias and hyundais instead of toyotas. By the way on the Best Buy site 200 reviews average out to 4.6 out of 5. But I guess all the matters is the viewing angle is 6.31% of the medium range of a Barn Owl's nighttime vision.
