I bought this last time it went on sale for $15. This thing is the best frother ive ever had! The $15 sale happens like 1x a month on this item so if you miss it just wait for next time

The Keurig SimpleCafe rechargeable handheld frother stands out for fast, steady foam and simple one touch use, with three foam settings and a glass cup that has a silicone sleeve for grip and heat protection. It is easy to clean, looks nice on a counter, and the battery life can be strong, with one unit still on its first charge after daily use. The main cautions are durability and water resistance, since multiple units stopped working after weeks or months and the main unit is not meant to be submerged. A handy little frother if you want easy milk foam without much fuss.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. It produces steady foam and is described as making great foam, with several users calling it a beast and saying it improves coffee noticeably. One practical tip is to warm the milk first for 30-45 seconds in the microwave for the best froth.

  • It is designed to be cleaned by detaching the whisk rather than submerging the main unit, and the glass cup has a silicone sleeve for grip and heat protection. That makes it easier to rinse than many cheap frothers, but the main body is not waterproof.

  • It can handle daily use and may last well, with one report of months of everyday use on the first charge. However, there are also reports of units dying after a month or after several months, so long-term reliability may vary.

  • Hold the power button for a few seconds to stop it instead of tapping through the different speed settings. It also has one-touch operation: fill, secure, and press the button.

  • Yes, the $15 price reportedly comes around about once a month. If you miss it, waiting for the next sale is a reasonable option.

Dead, so thanks for the info that it will probably hit this price again.
I looked into two features before I knew the deal is dead. For those considering this as a future purchase, two good features are:
  1. The Keurig SimpleCafe Frother includes a glass frothing cup with a silicone sleeve for grip and heat protection.
  2. It has three foam settings.

Wow—looking at the price over 90 days, it fluctuated like a digital signal.

Got one of these last time and it works well. Just a tip someone else mentioned, you can hold the power button for a few seconds to stop the unit instead of cycling through all the different speeds to turn it off.

Not really water proof. Water will get in even with rinse off. One day it will just not turn on. Had 2 dead already. Difficult to get support and response.

This is user error. Nowhere does this say the device is supposed to be waterproof. Also there's a big red sticker on the main unit that tells you not to submerge the unit into milk (or any other liquid for that matter). You're supposed to detach the whisk for cleaning.

Mine arrived broken with cracked glass when I bought it on sale and Amazon wouldn't let me do an exchange because it wasn't available. So I'm looking forward to this run.

Never submerged the main unit in any liquid. For my 2nd unit, I even only wipe off the main unit only if I see any "splashes" but still dead after 6 months. And then you will understand how hard to get RMA and the frustration to get service.

Hi. Since you have this exact item. Did the item come with a protective cover for the frother? Like this... https://www.keurig.com/Spare-Part...ault_color
