These were just released mid September so it hasn't been more then 5 months, what are you talking about? Did the pro 3 fail, or another version?

I have had 6 AirPod Pros in my family of all different generations since they first were released. Besides the issue with crackling with ANC with the first generation that happened about 2-2.5 years after buying them (which was a know issue), I've had no problems with AirPod pros.

I couldn't check out as an existing Verizon Wireless customer. Apple Pay, credit cards, they were all declined by Verizon even though my credit cards show a successful pre-authorization of the full amount.
Had to create a new account and check out with PayPal.

Pro3 can't handle the heat. I can take my pro2 into the sauna for over 15 minutes without any issue. The pro3 would shut off after a few minutes.
